Dec. 10, 2008 (China Knowledge) - Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (Deloitte), one of the world's leading accounting and consulting firms, opened a new branch in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province on Tuesday, which is the 11th branch it set up in China, the official Xinhua News reported. </p]
Deloitte still remains confident in China's economic outlook despite the global financial crisis, said Chris Lu, Deloitte's CEO in China, at the opening ceremony of the branch.</p]
Hangzhou is considered as an important city in the Yangtze River Delta region where a great number of foreign-invested companies locate, and Deloitte is capable of providing auditing, taxes, consulting and financial advisory services to them, according to the CEO.</p]
