The outer edge of the drum is pierced so that air flows through the bed of tablets which are placed in the drum. With adjustable volumetric capacity to reach a desirable tablet depth for the number of tablets that are being processed, the drum is able to carry the tablet coating process efficiently. Drum s wall portion is flexible, so that the length of the tablet holding the part of the drum can be adjusted.
